WORK // UX/UI // FOXO LIFE™ Admin Dashboard
FOXO LIFE™ is creating the next generation of underwriting. We've built the first life insurance product to give you a personalized Longevity Report™, based on the science of epigenetics. To see what we are up to, please visit FOXOLIFE.com
The creative ask is to design a portal that will help admins support future customers should any issue arise with their policy or their Longevity Report.
USER JOURNEY
BEFORE & AFTER
When I joined FOXO Technologies, this project was already in motion—but one thing stood out immediately: nearly everything functioned as a button, creating confusion and complexity. We needed to take a step back and start with clear requirements. I began by outlining user stories in the format, “As an admin, I need the ability to…” which helped us quickly prioritize and deprioritize features in development. From there, I created a journey map to visualize the full scope of work and guide the design process. See below for the journey map and sample screens.
Before
Too many buttons, not clear labels or navigation, confusing form fields, etc.
After
Clear hierarchy, a true dashboard overview page, navigation is easy to read
ART BOARD
The admin portal is being designed in Figma, with careful consideration of the many user states based on where customers are in their journey. Below is a sample of various screens that illustrate how the interface adapts to different scenarios and needs.
SAMPLE OF WORK
Overview page where admin users can quickly see where life insurance applications are at in their progress, longevity report total numbers and they can easily navigate to different dashboard views based on the task at hand.
Application dashboard overview. Ability to search, quickly filter and easily see where any given user is at in their journey of applying for life insurance.
Policies dashboard overview. Admins will have the ability to search, see quick numbers, check a user’s status and be able to click in to that customer view to serve that user effectively.
